Wonderful news to start the New Year. The Big Play application which was made to Sita Trust for £30,000 has been successful.
This money will form part of the funding to progress the Holliday Park project! Exciting times for the project and Langley Moor.
County Councillors John Turnbull and Paul Taylor and also Danny Bone, the Chair of the Friends of Langley Moor, receive the Environmental Commendation for Boyne Place from the Chair of Durham County Council – Coun Jan Blakey at this years Environmental Awards ceremony.
We are pleased to confirm that our award for Boyne Place is now displayed for the community courtesy of Lloyds Bank on High Street, Langley Moor.
They are displaying our trophy in the window of the branch facing prominently onto the High Street.
We are very pleased to be able to put it on public display, and I’m sure you’re as proud as we are that this fantastic community space has been recognised!
More amazing news for Boyne Place – our community meeting place on High Street. We’ve received a ‘Commendation’ award in the Places and Spaces category. Along with our Durham in Bloom awards it’s been a brilliant year for Langley Moor!
